Borderlands 2 Last DLC: Headhunter Pack 5: Sir Hammerlock vs. the Son of Crawmerax

Following right on the heels of the 4th Headhunter DLC Pack (Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre) is the announcement, with images of the 5th and final Borderlands 2 DLC- Sir Hammerlock vs. the Son of Crawmerax.

We have to prepare ourselves for some rest and relaxation in a sunny getaway at an island resort when things go awry.  Of course you're with Sir Hammerlock when the son of Crawmerax seeks vengeance on the original Vault Hunters and all hell breaks loose on Wam Bam Island.  Sun, sand, shooting and looting.  What more could we ask for?
"Your journey across Wam Bam Island culminates in a battle against a foe that may look familiar to some – Crawmerax Jr., the son of the great crab worm from The Secret Armory of General Knoxx add-on for the original Borderlands. Crawmerax Jr. is seeking vengeance on Lilith, Brick and Mordercai for brutally defeating his father over and over again. You must fight him off without their help so, you may want to call some friends to help you out with this one.
If you are successful in defeating Crawmerax Jr., you get the honor of wearing his head – but shrunk down to fit on your character’s neck since you aren’t an 80 foot crab worm.  Each character gets a new beach themed skin as well, including Axton wearing an 80’s Aloha shirt and a certain dual gun wielding Vault Hunter prepping for a wet t-shirt contest. Oh, and make sure to bring your sun screen!"
I like how Craw Jr. is mad about the Vault Hunters defeating Crawmerax Sr. "over and over."  That would mean that the non-canon New-U stations may be fit into canon.  Granted, it could just be a nice little joke for the fans.

What I believe will really set this apart from the other Headhunter Packs is the fact that the end boss will actually be a real RAID BOSS!  Bringing back that special something that made the original Papa Crawmerax so much fun.  (It is also said that this is "by far" the largest of the Headhunter Packs.)

It is an amazing thing to still be receiving new DLC a year and a half after the main game was released.  I look forward to the future of this series, and hope this particular Headhunter Pack lives up to the Secret Armory of General Knoxx DLC in terms of replayability.

Sir Hammerlock vs. the Son of Crawmerax will be available April 15th for $2.99(USD).

Do You Even FIFA 14? (PS3 vs PS4)

"Goal!" says Clive Tyldesley and Andy Townsend.

To this day it never gets old hearing that one word that started my obsession and this year is no different. As I look back a these 10 years I've been playing FIFA I see a lot has changed and here is my (RE)view of this years FIFA 14.

The game play has improved with player movement being much smoother and more free flowing. I constantly found myself holding possession of ball much easier then previous installments. While I found that the AI is able to take the ball from you much faster and with ease if you try to full on sprint pass or even run next to them down the flank, which was not the case in the past. This better ball retention led to easier trick completion/success (which I had difficulties with in the past).

The visuals look great with the additions of the crowd being 3D and being able to see the outside of the stadium upon your teams entry to the field. I had a problem with the the way they designed the athletes face, even tho it is very detailed, I hated the way they smiled when they scored a goal because they all had the same smile and it wasn't even a normal one at that. It looked more like the jokers smile, like he recruited them all (hope they change that next year lol).

The menu is a big step up from the last 3 years. Simple, easy, and to the point. For the PS4 it's all blue and navy blue while the PS3 version has a lot of white with grey. (Picture below)

This year they have removed the "Creation Center" and "Custom Music" from the PS4 version. Seeing as the PS4 cannot play mp3 files on it I can see why they chose to leave it out but this was one of the draw backs for me since I got tired of their playlist. Bummer.

The two game modes I play is either "Kick Off" or "Career". Kick off has not changed much for the past few years. Career mode has changed slightly with the new menu which has lead to easier navigation of your players attributes and performances. Player objectives are all on the home part of the menu so you don't have to go looking around trying to find out how many goals, assists, shot %, or avg rating you need by the end of the season. This change has let me jump into the next match faster.

This latest installment has excited me for the first time since 11'. It's like a breath of fresh air for FIFA fan.

     "It's in the game."
